How can a simple gesture endure through time?

A few days ago, at the foundry, a father stood before his friends. He had just received his artwork — a Wine Opener, sculpted from his own hand. The emotion was tangible when he said: “Throughout his childhood, I held my son’s hand as I walked him to school. A simple gesture that meant: I’m here, I’m with you. That also meant: trust yourself, go forward… I’ll always be here. Today, I wanted that gesture to exist forever. So that one day, in his own moments of friendship, sharing, or celebration, he can once again place his hand in mine… just like when he was little.” Then he smiled and added: “For now, I’ll be the one using it… for as long as possible. Because it’s an artwork to live with, above all. And one day, it will be his.”

Why an artwork to live with above all?

That single sentence captures the very essence of Forest Audiard. Our creations are first and foremost objects of celebration before they are objects of memory. They invite us to live each gesture fully: opening a bottle, sharing a meal, writing a note of love, raising a glass among friends. These are living artworks, sculpted to accompany life’s most beautiful moments — to endure through the hand of the one who uses them, before being passed on to those they love. Today, this father gifts himself an object of joy and pleasure; tomorrow, he will gift his son the continuation of their shared gestures. On that day, when his son uses the Wine Opener in turn, he will rest his hand inside his father’s — and in that simple contact, rediscover the warmth of a living memory.

How does an imprint become a memory of love?

At Forest Audiard, we believe certain presences deserve eternity. Each creation is sculpted from a real hand imprint, cast in bronze with patience, precision, and emotion. Every step takes place in France, within our art foundry in Rochecorbon, certified EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant). Each piece requires 10 to 12 weeks of creation — the time needed for the sculptor’s hand to meet the one that inspired it. What we shape is not a frozen object: it is the trace of a bond, a gesture, a promise.

Why does a Forest Audiard artwork become a living legacy?

Because it is designed to endure — but above all, to live. Forest Audiard creations are silent witnesses of love, fragments of life passed on to those who come after. This father passing his gesture to his son is not giving an object, but sharing a story — a memory, an emotion, a symbol. And when his son opens a fine bottle among friends, he won’t only be lifting a glass — he’ll be raising his father’s memory.

FAQ

How can I contact Forest Audiard to create my piece?

We love to begin with a conversation. You may reach us by phone (+33 2 44 84 40 40), WhatsApp (+33 7 68 21 54 37), or through our website. A member of the Maison will get in touch to understand the occasion, the person, and the intention. From there, we draw a simple, refined path together: choice of piece (Ouvre-Vin, Étreinte, Stylo-Sculpture…), timeline, and imprint process.

If you wish, we can meet in Touraine, at the heart of our EPV-certified foundry or come to you anywhere in France and most neighbouring countries. For international clients, we offer dedicated solutions wherever you may be.

At Forest Audiard, every creation begins with a sincere exchange: you entrust us with a story — we give it form. The first gesture is often the most beautiful one: to tell us whom you wish to honour, and why.

What is the usual lead time to receive a Forest Audiard piece?

Allow ten to twelve weeks from validation of the imprint. This time is not a delay but a maturation. Bronze demands patience — moulding, casting, chiselling, polishing, engraving and patina. Each step has its rhythm, its silence, its precision.

We keep you informed at key milestones (imprint received, casting scheduled, finishing phase) so you can follow the birth of your piece. If the occasion is dated (wedding, birthday), we anticipate with intention: Ecrin, handwritten letter, elegant presentation — so that the moment of offering arrives perfectly on time.

Can a Forest Audiard creation be offered at the last minute?

Yes. Because life sometimes catches us by surprise, we have imagined elegant Intention Boxes and fine correspondence cards that announce the creation to come. You thus offer your gift in two chapters: the immediate grace of a refined present (box, personalised message, visuals of the future work), followed a few days later by the joy of the imprint appointment.

This wait is no longer a delay — it is a promise unfolding. We can personalise the message, include a handwritten note or schedule a priority imprint session according to your context. Offering Forest Audiard at the last minute transforms urgency into a double emotion.

Why does Forest Audiard speak of “living artworks”?

Because our creations are not meant to remain still.

An Ouvre-Vin that opens a bottle and invites conversation; an Étreinte that watches over a living room; a Stylo-Sculpture that writes what truly matters — our pieces are companions of life’s moments. They exist through use, gather memories, learn the skin and light of each place. The imprint makes them singular; the everyday makes them alive.

We refuse decorative accessories without a soul: each piece is a sculpture of use — a gesture restored to its poetic dignity, a beauty reawakened again and again.

How is offering a Forest Audiard creation different from any other prestigious gift?

Many gifts are beautiful; few are intimate.

The difference lies in a single word: the imprint. The work is not merely chosen — it is shaped for someone, from a unique trace. It is not a sign of status, but of connection. It honours a passion (wine, writing), celebrates a bond, reveals a gesture. It never exhausts its meaning through use — it becomes memory.

Where other houses offer icons, we entrust the recipient with a fragment of themselves, sculpted in bronze, ready to be passed on. Marked with the strongest and most moving of all imprints: their own.
