To celebrate a couple is to honor a story woven with simple yet powerful gestures. Great Maisons know how to embody such ties: Cartier immortalises love with its Trinity ring, Hermès seals complicity with its timeless scarves, Baccarat illuminates a dinner with its crystal flutes. Yet beyond prestige lies emotion. At Forest Audiard, we chose to give form to the invisible: L’Étreinte, a sculpture born from two interlaced hands, forever capturing the fragile space between them — a silent promise of love.
Love speaks in a thousand languages, yet it lives in one simple gesture: holding hands. Michel Audiard expressed it with clarity: “We did not sculpt hands, but the space between them. A space never captured before.” In our EPV-labelled art foundry in Touraine, we sculpt this void that is not empty, but full of promise. Each Étreinte is cast in bronze, then patiently chiselled, polished, and elevated by precious finishes (silvered, rhodium silver, yellow gold, or rose gold). Each one reveals a different nuance of love.
A decorative object is observed. A living artwork is lived. L’Étreinte takes place in a home like a silent witness. It is not meant to remain still but to resonate, to vibrate with those who touch it and with the light of passing time. The bronze preserves the imprint of the gesture that shaped it, carrying memory and intimacy. Unlike a jewel one wears, this artwork is contemplated together, evoking tenderness and eternity.
To offer L’Étreinte is not to give an object, but to invite into an experience. It begins with the imprint — a simple, intimate gesture taken from two hands united. Then comes 10 to 12 weeks of creation in our foundry, where the work comes to life through the ancestral lost-wax process. Finally, it is presented in an oak cloche case, accompanied by a Book of Realisation narrating each stage. Offering L’Étreinte is to offer a promise of eternity.

Each artwork is sculpted in bronze, chosen for its nobility and durability. We then elevate it with finishes that each tell a nuance of the story you wish to offer: silvered bronze for timeless elegance; rhodium silver for durable brilliance; yellow gold 24 carats for solar promise; or rose gold 18 carats for tender love. Every material magnifies meaning.
