Certain Maisons have elevated celebration to an art form. At Lalique, crystal captures the reflections of festivity. At Christofle, silver accompanies grand toasts. At Saint-Louis, glassware becomes shimmering light. And at Moët & Chandon, champagne marks each triumph with golden effervescence. These Maisons do not only celebrate moments: they honour a story, an achievement, a passage. Because to celebrate is to acknowledge what required strength, patience, or courage.

The tradition of champagne sabering dates back to the Napoleonic era. It is said that Napoleon’s hussars and marshals, upon returning victorious from battle, would strike off the bottle’s neck with a single swift motion of the blade. A theatrical, powerful, symbolic gesture. A gesture of panache, where boldness, freedom, and the raw joy of triumph met. In a single second, the blade hit the neck, the glass shattered, and the champagne burst forth like a cry of victory. Today, sabering a bottle is not merely opening champagne: it is saying the moment matters — rare, precious, deserved.

Because it is sculpted from the real hand imprint of its recipient. It is a saber born from a gesture. In our EPV-certified art foundry in Touraine, each saber is created using the ancestral lost-wax technique. Molten bronze, casting, chiseling, polishing and finishing: every stage takes 10 to 12 weeks, and every detail reflects the personality of the one who will use it. The Forest Audiard Saber is not simply a functional object: it is a living artwork to cherish and pass on — a marker of success, a symbol of boldness. It embodies like no other the celebration of promotions, victories, sporting achievements, or major milestones.

Because it celebrates not only a moment, but the person — their journey, their victory, their story. Resting in its oak case, accompanied by its Book of Creation, the Saber becomes a witness. An object to use, admire, and transmit. It becomes a living symbol: the mark of a moment when everything shifted, a milestone in a life, a success worthy of being celebrated again and again.

We love to begin with a conversation. Contact us by phone (+33 2 44 84 40 40), via WhatsApp (+33 7 68 21 54 37), or write to us through our website. A member of the Maison will reach out to understand the occasion, the person, and the intention. From there, we design a simple and thoughtful path: choice of artwork (Ouvre-Vin, Étreinte, Sculpted Pen…), schedule, and imprint process. If you wish, we can welcome you to our foundry in Touraine or come to you anywhere in France and most neighboring countries. For international clients, we also have dedicated solutions. Every project begins with a sincere exchange: you entrust us with a story, we give it form. The first gesture is often the most beautiful — saying who you wish to honor, and why.
Yes. Life sometimes takes us by surprise — that’s why we’ve imagined elegant boxes and cards announcing the artwork to come. You give twice: first the immediate emotion of a refined present (box, personalized message, visuals of the future piece), then, a few days later, the joy of an imprint session. The wait is no longer a delay — it is a promise that grows. We can personalize the correspondence or arrange a priority imprint session depending on your needs. Offering Forest Audiard at the last minute means turning urgency into double emotion.
Each creation requires 10 to 12 weeks from imprint validation. This time is not waiting — it is maturation. Bronze follows a patient choreography: molding, casting, chiseling, polishing, patina, inspection. Each step has its rhythm, its silence, its precision. We keep you informed at every major stage (imprint received, casting scheduled, finishing complete) so you can follow the birth of your artwork. If the occasion has a fixed date (wedding, anniversary), we adjust the schedule in advance to make the presentation as moving as the artwork itself.
Because our creations are not meant to remain still. A Wine Opener shaped from a hand that opens a bottle; an Étreinte that watches over a room; a Sculpted Pen that traces what matters — our artworks are companions to life’s moments. They exist through use, gather memories, learn the skin and the light of their surroundings. The imprint makes them unique; everyday life makes them alive. We reject decorative objects without soul: every piece is a sculpture of use — a gesture restored to its poetic dignity, a beauty reactivated again and again.
Many gifts are beautiful; few are intimate. The difference lies in one word: the imprint. The artwork is not simply chosen — it is shaped for someone, from a unique trace. It is not a sign of status, but a sign of connection. It acknowledges a passion (wine, writing), celebrates a union, highlights a gesture. It does not fade with use — it becomes memory. Where others offer icons, Forest Audiard offers a fragment of oneself, cast in bronze, ready to be transmitted — marked by the most powerful and moving of imprints: one’s own.
