How does the art of living become a French heritage?

Certain Maisons embody an idea of time. Hermès exalts the gesture, Jaeger-LeCoultre the silence, Guerlain the scent of memory, Cartier the promise of connection. All share the same French elegance — one that values sincerity over spectacle. Forest Audiard stands within this lineage of excellence and poetry. Not seeking to please, but to move. Here, matter becomes memory, and each imprint tells a story.

How do the hand, the fire, and memory shape each creation?

Every Forest Audiard creation begins with a hand — real, living, loving. From that fragile hollow, from that gesture, everything emerges. This hand is entrusted to fire, to wax, to metal, to the patience of those who master time. In our art foundry in Touraine, certified EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) — the highest distinction awarded by the French Ministry of Culture — fire becomes sculptor, and bronze, confidant. This savoir-faire is French, yet above all, profoundly human. It connects art to life, and life to legacy.

Why are Forest Audiard creations true living works of art?

Forest Audiard creations do not decorate — they accompany. They are living objects, meant to be touched, shared, and passed on. Whether it be L’Étreinte, La Paume, the Sculpted Pen, the Wine Opener or the Champagne Saber, each piece is born of a gesture, a bond, an emotion. Each artwork is sculpted in bronze using the ancestral lost-wax technique, then hand-polished, chiseled and patinated. It takes 10 to 12 weeks to bring a single creation to life — 10 to 12 weeks of listening, precision, and soul. This deliberate pace, faithful to the rhythm of fire and time, is what makes these pieces living heirlooms.

How does the French art of emotion and transmission come to life at Forest Audiard?

To be a French Maison of art de vivre is to believe that beauty only exists when shared. To turn a gesture into language, matter into memory, and savoir-faire into promise. Each Forest Audiard creation endures not by its shine, but by its meaning. In a world that rushes, we stand for the slowness of sense, the nobility of fire, the fidelity to the human. Because a hand, once turned into an imprint, never truly disappears.

FAQ

How can I contact Forest Audiard to create my piece?

We love to begin with a conversation. You may reach us by phone (+33 2 44 84 40 40), WhatsApp (+33 7 68 21 54 37), or through our website. A member of the Maison will get in touch to understand the occasion, the person, and the intention. From there, we draw a simple, refined path together: choice of piece (Ouvre-Vin, Étreinte, Stylo-Sculpture…), timeline, and imprint process.

If you wish, we can meet in Touraine, at the heart of our EPV-certified foundry, or come to you anywhere in France and most neighbouring countries. For international clients, we offer dedicated solutions wherever you may be.

At Forest Audiard, every creation begins with a sincere exchange: you entrust us with a story — we give it form. The first gesture is often the most beautiful one: to tell us whom you wish to honour, and why.

Can a Forest Audiard creation be offered at the last minute?

Yes. Because life sometimes catches us by surprise, we have imagined elegant Intention Boxes and fine correspondence cards that announce the creation to come. You thus offer your gift in two chapters: the immediate grace of a refined present (box, personalised message, visuals of the future work), followed a few days later by the joy of the imprint appointment.

This wait is no longer a delay — it is a promise unfolding. We can personalise the message, include a handwritten note, or schedule a priority imprint session according to your context. Offering Forest Audiard at the last minute transforms urgency into a double emotion.

Why does Forest Audiard speak of “objects for living”?

Because our creations are not meant to remain still.

An Ouvre-Vin that opens a bottle and invites conversation; an Étreinte that watches over a living room; a Stylo-Sculpture that writes what truly matters — our pieces are companions of life’s moments. They exist through use, gather memories, learn the skin and light of each place. The imprint makes them singular; the everyday makes them alive.

We refuse decorative accessories without a soul: each piece is a sculpture of use — a gesture restored to its poetic dignity, a beauty reawakened again and again.

What is the usual lead time to receive a Forest Audiard piece?

Allow ten to twelve weeks from validation of the imprint. This time is not a delay but a maturation. Bronze demands patience — moulding, casting, chiselling, polishing, patina, and final checks. Each step has its rhythm, its silence, its precision.

We keep you informed at key milestones (imprint received, casting scheduled, finishing phase) so you can follow the birth of your piece. If the occasion is dated (wedding, birthday), we anticipate with intention: Intention Box, handwritten letter, elegant presentation — so that the moment of offering arrives perfectly on time.

What makes offering a Forest Audiard creation different from another prestigious gift?

Many gifts are beautiful; few are intimate. The difference lies in one word: imprint. The artwork is not simply chosen — it is shaped for someone, from a unique trace. It is not a sign of status, but a sign of connection. It celebrates passion, marks a union, honors a gesture. Where other Maisons offer icons, we entrust the recipient with a fragment of themselves, sculpted in bronze — made to be lived, cherished, and passed on.
